Rob Clearfield

Pianist and composer Rob Clearfield returns to 38Riv with his new project “Voice in the Wilderness”. Combining the creative spirit of the Chicago scene with a lyricism that touches the heart, this American pianist, now well established in France, presents a diverse programme of his own compositions, with influences ranging from the hip-hop production of Robert Glasper and Makaya McCraven to the romantic fantasies of Brahms and Chopin.
