Swedish singer and songwriter Ellen Birath, a regular on the Paris jazz scene, joins forces with Brisa Roché and Ramona Horvath for an intimate concert dedicated to the all-too-often forgotten female composers of jazz. An afternoon by candlelight, combining original compositions and personal accounts, for three passionate artists.

Brisa Roché, an American artist signed to Blue Note in 2005, has established herself with 9 cult albums, a unique voice and rich productions. Founder of the independent label Black Ash, she has also composed the soundtrack for the 2019 Deauville American Film Festival, constantly enriching her world as a writer, composer and producer.

Ramona Horvath, a virtuoso and eclectic pianist, draws her inspiration from the great jazz masters. Her personal style blends swing and bebop tradition with a resolutely modern touch.

Every Saturday afternoon, 38Riv transforms itself into a Havana piano bar, a hushed Harlem club or a forgotten Broadway stage. It's not just a concert: it's a lively, theatrical plunge into the golden age of jazz and musical comedy.
Imagine a vibrant tribute to the voices of Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. A timeless interlude between the pages of a Fitzgerald novel and the backstage of a New York cabaret, where people sing, tell stories, play and laugh.
