‘Revelation’ Jazz Magazine, ‘Elected’ Citizen Jazz, Jazz Migration #7.

Mixing music recorded in several emblematic places in Tripoli in Lebanon such as the hammam Ezzeddine, the Armenian church of Beit El Fan or Beit El Nessim, a former Ottoman residence from the 18th century, but also recordings taken in the heart of places where people live, This album is a work of sound dedicated to the city, its history, its present and the people who live there today. Trablos is an intimate and personal testimony to an extremely special period in Lebanon, and is intended as a phonic interpretation by a duo of improvising artists on prepared instruments, in the service of research into the texture and resonance of materials. Capturing the real but also sublimating it: the city of Tripoli can thus be seen and heard in a different way, as close as possible to real sensations and images, like a shared experience, between strangeness and shared imagination, at a place where words are not enough to rethink, imagine but also dream.

Jazzics - Jazz meets classical
38Riv celebrates the dialogue between jazz and classical music. Rereading the great repertoires, bringing together instruments from different eras, free improvisations: a meeting where borders are erased in favour of a common language.
Conceived as a tribute to Vincent Charbonnier, founder of 38Riv and a passionate double bass player, this programme is in the spirit of Jacques Loussier's “Play Bach”: curious, inventive and free.

Robin Antunes: violin, prepared quinton
Benjamin Garson: guitar, prepared guitar
