Richard Sears Quartet

Richard Sears is an American pianist and composer based in Paris. Sears has performed with the Billy Hart Quartet (ft. Mark Turner and Ben Street), the Muhal Richard Abrams Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane, Ralph Alessi, Eric Revis, Andrew Cyrille, Joshua Redman and other jazz artists. In 2021, Sears moved from Brooklyn to Paris, where he was composer-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts. Currently, Sears is a fellow at the American Composers Forum and a resident at the POUSH art centre in Paris, France.
