Nina Gat & Christelle Raquillet

Christelle Raquillet and Nina Gat met in the “Era#P” group, and began playing as a duo when they were invited by the Zoot Collectif to perform at the Zoot Underground.

With an eclectic repertoire ranging from folk waltzes to impressionist improvisation, the duo expresses a fresh, elegant musicality through compositions, covers and arrangements.

The duo's intimate formation allows them to deepen their listening and sensitivity to sounds and textures. The alto flute, harmonized voices and doubled melodic lines create a rich and complete palette of sound, and virtuoso improvisations complement each other with a harmonic universe that is sometimes minimalist, sometimes complex and precise.
