Alexis Valet Invite Pierre Perchaud

Vibraphonist Alexis Valet welcomes one of the best guitarists on the French scene, Pierre Perchaud, to 38Riv for the first time. A musician with an instantly recognizable sound, he brings a unique flavor to every project he is involved in, from Airelle Besson to Anne Paceo, via the FOX trio and Yaron Herman's quartet.
He is accompanied by a tight-knit and inventive ensemble: flutist Christelle Raquillet, double bassist Étienne Renard, and drummer Antoine Paganotti.
The result is resolutely contemporary music, lively and soulful, where composition and improvisation respond to each other with intensity.
