Alt Invite Géraldine Laurent

After several years of study, concerts, and other musical explorations in Isère, Paris, Montreal, and Switzerland, Alix decided to settle in Île-de-France to develop her project.
The idea is to develop a repertoire, a sound, and an interplay specific to this group. A resolutely contemporary jazz with many influences, such as urban music, but not only!
It is with this energy that he released his third album on the Grenoble-based label Agile Production in November.
For this concert, he invited Géraldine Laurent, a leading saxophonist on the French jazz scene. She has made a name for herself with the Time Out Trio and collaborates with many big names in jazz. Her albums “At Work” and “Cooking” have been critically acclaimed, with the latter being named Album of the Year at the Victoires du Jazz 2020. A multiple award winner at the Victoires du Jazz, she received the Artist of the Year and Concert of the Year awards in 2023. She is also a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters for her overall contribution to music.
