Alexandre Herer 'Nunataq' / Jam Session

With Nunataq, Alexandre Herer offers open, airy, and deliberately cold music, inspired in part by the vast ice fields of Greenland, places that bear witness to a climate that is now under threat from modern man.

Often dreamy and haunting, the music is based on rhythms and grooves that are sometimes experimental, sometimes simple, drawing on different harmonic and melodic worlds, ranging from contemporary music to pop. Alexandre brings together Magic Malik, his long-time collaborator, and Inga Vamze from Latvia, a European collaboration dear to Alexandre's heart.
