The Little Mole, an adorable silent cartoon created in 1957 in what was then Czechoslovakia, has stood the test of time and generations thanks to its colorful imagery and episodes that are as entertaining as they are comforting.
Raphaël Schwab and Marc Benham grew up watching it, before passing it on to their own children.
Poetic and whimsical composers, they have created an original soundtrack that reflects their artistic universe. With an unusual array of instruments, combining the double bass with the Moog synthesizer, piano, whistles, bird calls, and other slide flutes, and with the collaboration of Stéphan Caracci on the vibraphone, the musicians have created a playful and dreamlike soundtrack that closely follows the Little Mole's adventures in his colorful environment. For young and old alike!
Stéphan Caracci: vibraphone
Raphaël Schwab: double bass
