Danny Janklow is a leading saxophonist and composer of his generation, renowned for his energy, imagination, and unique blend of jazz, R&B, funk, and soul.
A committed musician, his creations resonate as calls for equality, justice, and love.
Winner of numerous prestigious competitions (Detroit Jazz Festival, North American Saxophone Alliance), he was also a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk competition.
In 2021, he received a Grammy for his role in Monk'estra plays John Beasley.
He has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Aloe Blacc.
His recordings combine virtuosity and audacity, from jazz to hip-hop collaborations with JID and Earthgang.
He has performed on some of the most prestigious stages: Hollywood Bowl, Village Vanguard, Northsea Jazz Festival, Blue Note Tokyo...
He has released Elevation, Worlds Collide, Love Day Live and, more recently, the single Rising Tide.
A multi-instrumentalist, he embodies a generation that is pushing the boundaries of jazz.
