An interactive and educational concert to introduce children to jazz and musical instruments, accompanied by musical activities.
This quartet offers an original instrumentation, without any harmonic instruments. The tenor saxophone combines its deep, mellow tone with that of the warm, brilliant trumpet. Meanwhile, the drums and double bass alone set the tempo, putting their sense of swing at the service of the group (a formation reminiscent of the famous Chet Baker and Gerry Mulligan Quartet). The repertoire ranges from standards to original compositions. It draws inspiration from jazz greats such as Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, and Dizzy Gillespie, humbly appropriating the traditional codes of jazz and reinterpreting them in a personal way.
With their long-standing complicity, the four friends know how to make each concert a new playground for new experiments, during which each of them can express their qualities as soloists.
Suitable for all ages from 7 years old.
Doors open 30 minutes before the show.
