Thierry Fanfant will thrill you from the roots to the rhythms of the world, with his 6.4 and his team on stage, for a concert where every note tells a story and grabs you from the very first second.
Thierry Fanfant has music in his blood. Born into a family of musicians spanning several generations, he picked up a bass guitar at the age of 12, took to the stage as a self-taught musician... and hasn't stopped since. He has toured all over the world, recorded thousands of albums, and still has the same generous groove that makes him vibrate.
With his fifth album, 6.4, Thierry takes us right back to his roots. Between Caribbean rhythms, travels, encounters, and life experiences, he creates music full of depth, energy, and hope. And the nod is clear: he alternates between 6-string guitar, bass, and 4-string double bass to tell his story.
On stage, he is not alone: Daniel Gassin makes the piano sing, Robert Coline sets the ka alight, and Andy Bérald propels it all on drums and ka. Philippe Sellam on sax and Arno de Casanove on trumpet bring vibrant colors. Together, they deliver a powerful, warm sound that grabs the audience from the first note and never lets go.
