Mégaswing – 35 Years of Blazing Swing

Born in the late 1980s under the impulse of drummer Stéphane Roger, Mégaswing quickly established itself as one of the flagship swing bands on the Paris scene. Three albums, eight years on the road and a first break… before making a dazzling comeback.

It was at the legendary Caveau de la Huchette that the band built its reputation, with more than 300 Sunday nights of non-stop music for lindy hoppers and curious newcomers alike.

The formula? A rock-solid rhythm section – Roger, César Pastre on piano, Jean-Philippe “Fifi” Naeder on percussion – and two of the most fiery tenor saxophonists in France, Claude Braud and Pierre-Louis “Pilou” Cas, who can set every solo on fire.

In 2025, Mégaswing celebrates 35 years of existence and remains true to its credo: a generous, high-energy swing that’s irresistibly made for dancing.
