The Dream Weapon Orchestra by Collectif OH! is a large-format band that never stands still, mixing and blending to underline the fact that jazz is a music that is permeable to anything that comes its way. Under its program-name, the ideal weapon for breaking down prejudices, the DWO creates encounters and summons the unexpected. A sweet and savory creation, La Tablée is the brainchild of the DWO and Fred Pallem. The creator of the big band Le Sacre du Tympan, bassist and composer, is the ideal guest to play with sonic paradoxes, writing the arrangements for the repertoire. La Tablée becomes a collective, collegial playground where tense, rough themes and more consonant, more attentive motifs attract and confront the ear. These sonic feasts promise to be greedy, bittersweet and sharing.
