Alexandra Ridout Quartet brings together four striking young voices from the New York of contemporary jazz scene.Born in the United Kingdom and located in Harlem, trumpetist and composer Alexandra Ridout won at her victory at the BBC Young Jazz Musician in 2016 as one of the unavoidable young figures in international jazz.Winner of numerous prestigious prizes, she performs in the biggest festivals (Montreux, North Sea, Love Supreme, Lincoln Center) and collaborates with artists such as Samara Joy, Arturo O’Farrill or Dave Douglas.
At just 26 years old, his unique voice with the trumpet continues to seduce the public and confirm his place among the most promising talents of his generation.
