EXCLUSIVE CONCERT!

Charlotte Planchou is one of the most exciting singers to emerge on the jazz scene in recent years. Released in 2024 as a duo with pianist Mark Priore (winner of the 2023 René Urtreger Prize Jury Award), the album “Le Carillon” was unanimously praised by critics and earned her the 2024 Evidence Prize from the Académie du Jazz, which rewards the revelation of the year, as well as a Charles Cros favorite.

Charlotte Planchou's name suits her well: two bold syllables that pop and stand out, like an artist who is unlike any other. She combines an unbreakable bond with childhood—its innocence and mischief—with astonishing vocal mastery and an ability to access the least frequented corners of a rich and strong soul, shaken by the turmoil of the world.

She is multilingual, expressing herself here in five languages (French, German, English, Portuguese, and Occitan), and this ability to move from one world to another, as if to better polish a personality that naturally imposes itself, makes Charlotte Planchou a major artist for whom any attempt at classification is futile. She is unique and moves easily from classical music, which was her first love when she studied at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, to jazz, pop, and chanson.

In just a few seconds, this young woman with gray eyes manages to silence even the most boisterous venues and have everyone hanging on her every word. An extraordinary talent. Télérama

Andy Emler is an outstanding composer and improviser who has traveled the world with French jazz masters such as François Jeanneau and Michel Portal, for whom he was the official pianist for several years! Winner of three Django d'Or awards and two Victoires du Jazz awards, he is the creator of MegaOctet, a large ensemble composed of internationally renowned virtuosos that has toured continuously around the world since its formation in 1989.

We will have the immense pleasure of attending the first concert of this duo, tailor-made for the occasion!
