Big Band Antony Jazz

The Antony Jazz Big Band pays tribute to a giant of jazz history: Charles Mingus. Through reinterpretations of some of his iconic pieces, the big band embraces the experimental spirit that defined Mingus’s work, blending composition and improvisation.
The program will be topped off with a playful nod to Benny Goodman and his famous clarinet in the near-concerto Sing, Sing, Sing.
To conclude, the band will take you on a journey through the world of Claude Nougaro, performing his greatest songs with a big band jazz twist.
