#Residence Viviane Ginapé Invites Benoit De Mesmay

Singer and songwriter with a deep alto voice, Laura Littardi passed away in August 2024. She was expressive, capable of intimacy and nuance, and an incredible improviser, with scat singing being her greatest asset. She loved to blend different styles, including jazz, Brazilian syncopation, 1970s pop-soul, and stripped-down melodies with an intimate, unpretentious feel. A tribute initiated by Viviane Ginapé, singer and teacher who was greatly inspired by the great names of vocal jazz such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, as well as Latin music, accompanied by Benoit de Mesmay, jazz pianist, composer, and arranger.
