Sounds of… brings together Lauriane Ludosky, Maxime Barcelona and Sylvain Le Ray to explore Caribbean, African, and contemporary jazz music. A lively, intuitive exploration fueled by improvisation, the memory of rhythms, and collective listening.
Throughout the residencies, the trio invites artists from diverse backgrounds, each with a "sound and an identity." Voices, timbres, rhythms, journeys: each guest brings with them what deeply defines them. These exchanges give rise to an original, ever-changing repertoire, imbued with the stories, energies, and languages of each individual.
Here, sound is much more than a style or a color: it's a way of inhabiting music, of expressing who we are, where we come from, and what we're striving for. Sounds of… is a space for free creation where identities are expressed and transformed through musical dialogue.
