Fabrice Moreau returns with a new project that reflects his personality: subtle, poetic, and intense. A key figure in European jazz, a traveling companion of Marc Copland, Stéphane Kerecki, Airelle Besson, and Jean-Philippe Viret, the drummer invites us to dive into a world where virtuosity rhymes with simplicity.
Around him, a high-flying trio: Ricardo Izquierdo on tenor sax, with a sound as warm as it is incisive; Nelson Veras, a guitarist of formidable finesse, whose every note seems to hang in the air; and Jozef Dumoulin, a master of textures, on piano and synth bass, who stretches the sonic space to the point of weightlessness.
Between assertive lyricism and discreet romanticism, Fabrice Moreau's new compositions create a free, sincere music that breathes and takes its time.
