Laurent Medelgi Organic Trio

Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening with Alex Swing Events, thus reviving the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

Michael Steinman, like others, recognized certain phrases of Pat Martino or Georges Benson in the musical delivery of guitarist Laurent Medelgi. Given Benson's background, notably with the great Seleno Clarke (organist with whom Medelgi shared stages in Harlem), and Pat Martino's accompanied by Joey DiFrancesco, what could be more natural than this formation, which showcases the Hammond organ:
