Salmon Saumon is a quartet that is unmistakably jazz and undeniably folk. With their subtle virtuosity,
the four musicians transport listeners on a journey that oscillates between captivating intimacy and explosive moments.
The four friends met at the Conservatoire National de Paris (CNSM) and played together in the Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes. After a year of touring and completing their studies, the musical affinity they developed led them to continue the experience as a quartet, this time with their own repertoire, consisting of original pieces as well as covers. This is how the group was born, out of a shared love for jazz and folk. Driven by a collective desire to combine their talents, they focus on the sound and energy of the group rather than showcasing individual virtuosity.
Loan Buathier: guitar
Jérémie Lucchese: saxophone
Antoine Leonardon: double bass
