Olivier Robin Quintet

| Jazz, compositions, new album

A high-flying quintet led by drummer Olivier Robin, who draws inspiration with passion and elegance from the golden age of jazz. From timeless, joyful hard bop to original compositions brimming with joyful, impatient energy, featuring prominent drums supporting committed soloists. The brass section is in the ring with a sparkling Josiah Woodson on trumpet and Alex Terrier on saxophone, fiery and indomitable in his lyricism. Sincere, brilliant, and tremendously effective music that follows in the tradition of modern jazz with superb, infectious energy. The album “Take it like it is” (French Sounds Records, 2024) was awarded 4 stars in Jazz Magazine.
