The Ludivine Issambourg Quintet brings together five musicians who share a passion for sound exploration. The combination of flutes, trombone, and vibraphone creates an unusual space for exploration, where each timbre finds its place and dialogues with the others. Conceived with vibraphonist Alexis Valet, the group has built a repertoire nourished by each member's compositions, seeking less the effect than the encounter and circulation of musical ideas.
With this project, Ludivine Issambourg continues her journey between improvisation, composition, and work on instrumental colors. Surrounded by artists she knows well (Alexis Valet, Arnaud Dolmen, Daniel Zimmermann, and Mathis Regnault), she rediscovers a way of playing based on trust and immediate listening. After a period in residence, the quintet is preparing to record its first album, Papillons bleus, which will continue this collective adventure.
