The Wild Cards Reshuffle Jazz "Aces"
Nancy Vermès got into jazz partly because of her American roots, but that's not the only reason.
Her adopted country gave her a life-changing encounter with Jacy Desmond, who has been guiding and supporting her ever since.
Self-taught, she is surrounded by artists from all walks of life.
Born in New Zealand, Jacy is an immensely talented musician who sings ballads, performs jazz standards on the saxophone, and plays his compositions on the piano with finesse and sensuality.
A lover of pop music throughout his youth, Patrick Laroche discovered jazz and the double bass in his twenties. Since then, he has played extensively and delved deeply into various musical styles to express the strongest emotions.
Born in Marseille in 1975, Julien, a graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music, plays in renowned clubs and festivals in Boston and New York. He has collaborated with Amy Winehouse, among other illustrious figures, and now lives in Paris, where he is active on the local scene.
