From La Manigua to Ultramarine, Dee Dee Bridgewater to Chico Freeman, Mario Canonge’s career has been marked by prestigious encounters that have shaped his unique style. Following the success of his Quint’Up, formed with Michel Zenino, the Caribbean piano maestro is back with an album infused with Caribbean flavor. Backed by a fiery rhythm section featuring his longtime collaborator Michel Alibo on double bass and rising star Arnaud Dolmen on drums, he freely revisits his compositions to make room for pure improvisation.

After the concerts, the Châtelet will exceptionally open the doors of its sumptuous Nijinsky Foyer to the public, which will be transformed into a jazz club for the occasion… so the party continues every evening with a wild jam session! At the helm is piano maestro and pillar of the Rue des Lombards, Fred Nardin!
