A Birchola Invites Amina Mezaache

Agathe Francopoulo, Francesco Cosentini, and Nils Wekstein, respectively on vocals, guitar, and percussion, pay tribute to the masters of Brazilian music through a select repertoire and several original compositions, ranging from bossa nova to popular samba.

It brings together three musicians with unique backgrounds: a percussionist specializing in Afro-Cuban rhythms, a jazz and gypsy music guitarist, and a singer who has always been passionate about Brazil.

Guided by Agathe's intense and ethereal voice, they interpret this style with personal arrangements, moving from the most delicate saudade to the lively rhythms that make Brazilian music so rich. 

For the occasion, the trio invites flutist Amina Mezaache, also a composer and sought-after soloist for numerous projects combining her jazz and world music influences.
