However, other equally remarkable vocalists have not enjoyed the same level of fame. This is the case of Chris Connor, an iconic figure of cool jazz, whose career, although long and prestigious, is now largely unknown.
Among the musicians she deeply inspired is Tiffany Muzellec, a young singer with a voice "full of elegant inflections, not relying on any gimmicks" (B. Guermonprez, Jazz News).
