After having traveled through France and Japan for 7 years with their previous repertoire, OPHELIA REBIRTH, Ellinoa's quintet has developed a unique sound, a way of listening and responding to each other, of sculpting the sonic spaces together from written material. Tonight, the five accomplices will present a new creation, EURYDICE, which will build on this very particular point of balance between jazz roots, pop writing, generous arrangements, and improvised emergences that unfold particularly in a live setting. Its guiding thread: the character of Eurydice, a complex figure often overshadowed by that of her accomplice Orpheus. Embodied by Ellinoa, it will invite the audience to rethink the dynamics of love and loss through a powerful female figure who takes back control of her narrative.
Juliette Serrad: cello
Pierre Tereygeol: acoustic guitar
Paul Jarret: electric guitar
Arthur Henn: double bass
