Sylvain Ransy Quartet

Sylvain Ransy, a pianist and composer from Guadeloupe, takes us on a journey through sensitive and luminous jazz, infused with Caribbean influences that capture the ear and the heart. On stage, his groove, his energy, and his ability to connect with the audience make every moment lively and warm. After playing alongside artists such as Alain Jean-Marie, Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Calypso Rose, and Tony Chasseur, he has crafted a world where modern jazz and Creole heritage come together naturally.

With his quartet, Pierre Bernier, Simon Bernier, and Damian Nueva, Sylvain is turning a new page in music: a free jazz that brings together improvisation, composition, and ever-changing spontaneity.

Trained in Guadeloupe, France, and Canada, valedictorian, masterclass with Oliver Jones, Montreal stages, Sylvain continues today with a strong creative momentum. A passionate and generous musician, he invites you to feel, dream, and vibrate with contemporary jazz.
