Pieternel Van Oers Trio

On stage, Pieternel Van Oers' trio unfolds like a breath of fresh air, music that takes its time to emerge and dare. As the leader and composer of the project, Pieternel crafts sensitive, embodied jazz, where melodies tell stories and always leave the door open to the unexpected. On double bass, Tommaso Montagnani brings a deep, warm sound: a discreet but essential pillar, he sculpts the space with a fine musicality. On drums, Karl Jannuska infuses a precise and generous energy, an inventive playing style where groove dialogues with nuance, giving the trio its breath and movement. Together, they bring to life original, organic, and moving compositions, already featured on two singles released in 2025 and unreleased tracks, as well as songs from Dialogue, the trio's first album. In concert, the music stretches, transforms, and sometimes bursts into flames, and that's when it truly comes alive.
