Cathy Escoffier Octet

UN WESTERN  IMAGINAIRE is a suite of six pieces, composed by Cathy Escoffier and arranged by Christophe Dal Sasso for wind quintet (oboe replaced by voice).
A mercenary, an arms dealer, and a lost vigilante cross paths at a train station terminal. Against a backdrop of social protests, each defines their own notion of courage.         
Creating a cinematic atmosphere, blending styles ranging from jazz to metal, the musical universe is enriched by a visual universe (graphic novel).
