The saxophone? Pierre Lapprand fell in love with it at the age of 7. Since then, he has never put down his instrument and tirelessly explores the freest and most incisive corners of modern jazz. For him, music is a field of adventure, an infinite space for creation where he plays with aesthetics.
He has performed as the opening act for Herbie Hancock at the Jazzopen in Stuttgart, alongside Avishai Cohen at the Philharmonie de Paris, and has also ventured into electronic music with Pierre & The Stompers and Angelo Maria's Afrobeat group. As you can see, Pierre Laprand likes to blur boundaries and provoke encounters.
Tonight, he presents Analogik Stomp Machine, a project at the crossroads of modern jazz, dance, and electronic music, before opening the jam session.
