A virtuoso pianist and self-taught musician, William Mendelbaum discovered his passion for the piano at the age of 12. Since then, he has won more than 50 international competitions and performed in the United States, Japan, and Europe, on iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Kennedy Center.
A composer, arranger, and poet, he has shared the stage with artists such as Jean-Philippe Fanfan, Roni Kaspi, Justin Faulkner, and Adam Ben Ezra. His playing, inspired by world music and drawing on influences ranging from klezmer to gnawa, offers a modern and deeply vibrant take on jazz.
Tonight, William will be performing solo for an intimate evening.
