A key pianist on the Paris jazz scene, Fred Nardin strikes the perfect balance between elegance and power. Winner of the 2016 Django Reinhardt Prize and co-founder of the Amazing Keystone Big Band (Victoire de la Musique), he also accompanies jazz greats such as Cécile McLorin Salvant, Veronica Swift, and Stefano Di Battista.
For several years now, Fred Nardin has been forging a unique career path, combining jazz with more cross-disciplinary projects. You may have already seen him on stage at the Zéniths, alongside Pascal Obispo, for whom he is musical director and producer and arranger of his latest albums.
For this second evening, Fred Nardin is accompanied by an exceptional quintet, with Max Pinto on saxophone, Raynald Colom on trumpet, Viktor Nyberg on double bass, and Romain Sarron on drums.
