Karim Blal

Italian by birth and Parisian by adoption, Karim Blal is a pianist who is both inventive and virtuoso. Inspired by the greatest names in jazz, he quickly developed his own style, while remaining deeply attached to the tradition of great pianists, which is felt in his music.
Already recognized by his peers, Karim had the chance to study with masters such as Barry Harris and Kenny Barron. He has played on prestigious stages around the world, including the Blue Note Milano in Italy, the Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene in Norway, the Fasching Jazz Club in Sweden, the Chorus Jazz Club in Switzerland, and the Minsk Philharmonic in Belarus.
His music, full of life and constantly evolving, skillfully mixes jazz standards and original compositions. Accompanied by his trio, Karim explores both tradition and modern sounds.
