Jellyfish Quartet - Jacopo Forno

The Jellyfish Project is a dynamic quartet comprising Fred D'Oelsnitz on piano, Renaud Gensane on trumpet, Tony Sgro on double bass, and Jacopo Forno on drums and compositions.

Its goal is musical exploration through jazz, with a repertoire combining original compositions and faithful, powerful arrangements, ranging from traditional to hard bop, post-bop to drum and bass.

With references to jazz trios from the 60s and 70s, notably Bill Evans (Five, Someday My Prince Will Come, Nardis), Keith Jarrett (All The Things You Are, Oleo, So Tender), McCoy Tyner (Inception, Blues For Gwen) and Herbie Hancock (Speak Like a Child, The Sorcerer), the Jellyfish Project promises an evening of intense emotion, carried by hybrid and original sounds.
