| New album "And the winter came again"

"And then winter came again" is the second installment of the decade-long collaboration between Francesco Bearzatti and Federico Casagrande. Following "Lost Songs" (a collection of Bearzatti's compositions that they performed throughout Europe for several years), it is now Casagrande's turn to lead the duo into new musical territory, following the path set by his writing. While the first album was recorded live during a concert, this time they chose the studio as the ideal setting to record the new music.
"And the winter came again" is a collection of songs in a diffuse twilight light. Strange characters and their stories, lost landscapes of the world and the mind are evoked through the wide palette of sounds at their disposal.
Once again, the song form is at the center of this work; their storytelling art is even more refined and all the songs present themselves as an abstract and detailed painting.
Bearzatti plays both tenor saxophone and clarinet, bringing the warm sound and emotional lyricism that we know from him. In addition to his talents as a polyphonic guitarist, Casagrande adds a broader dimension through live effects and loops.
"And then winter came again" is an ode to calm, tranquility, and depth through the waves of cycles that mark life.
