Apostolos Sideris was born in 1978 in Athens, Greece, where he received his initial musical training on both the flute and later the double bass. His interest in jazz led him to the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston and City College of New York, where he earned a master's degree in jazz performance under the tutelage of renowned bassist John Patitucci. Since then, he has performed with a wide range of artists, from modern jazz to world music and beyond. After spending a lot of time in New York and Istanbul, he currently resides in Paris.

In this unique quintet, Apostolos is joined by the talented Andrea Romani on ney and flute, Lina Belaïd on cello, and percussionists Ersoj Kazimov and Wadie Naïm.
