Saxophonist and composer Ori Jacobson presents the music from his debut album "Fading Bridges", new compositions from an upcoming project, as well as fresh interpretations of jazz standards. He is joined by top Parisian musicians and a special guest from New York.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, led by pianist Danilo Pérez, Ori Jacobson received full scholarships for his bachelor's and master's degrees, recognizing his excellence in jazz and saxophone performance. He has studied with major figures in contemporary jazz such as Joe Lovano, George Garzone, and David Liebman.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Susana Baca, performing at prestigious venues and festivals including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Beacon Theatre, and Agganis Arena. Having spent time in New York, he has also played at iconic clubs like Smalls and Mezzrow.
He currently leads the Ori Jacobson Quartet and also performs with the Doug Weiss Quartet (New York) and Àbásé.
