Patrick Bebey is a musician, singer, and composer. He plays the piano, keyboards, sanza (thumb piano), percussion, and pygmy flute. He has mastered African vocal techniques that draw on the heritage of his origins. He has performed around the world on numerous occasions with renowned artists such as Arcade Fire, Polo and Pan, Miriam Makeba, CharlElie Couture, Papa Wemba, Francis Lalanne, Mory Kanté, and Roy Ayers, as well as a guest soloist-composer with classical orchestras. During concerts with his band, Patrick Bebey is accompanied by the cream of Parisian world jazz music. He is truly a musician from Africa who is keen to convey the ancestral spirit of African culture to the world.
