Favino Lorier Quartet

Every Tuesday from 8 pm to 11 pm, Chez Georges hosts a diverse and high-quality program, ranging from Gypsy swing to klezmer, Balkan folk music, and much more! Downstairs, a concert venue offers an intimate and captivating atmosphere.

Born into a family of musicians in eastern France, Favino Lorier grew up surrounded by music: his father, Ringo Lorier, Dorado Schmitt, Biréli Lagrène, and many others. While many Gypsy jazz guitarists today are turning to a more modern sound, Favino has made the opposite choice, seeking out the nostalgia of yesteryear. Drawing on these influences, he has developed a unique playing style and is among the rising stars of Gypsy jazz. For this occasion, Favino will be accompanied by the talented accordionist JB Baudin.
