Olivier Laisney ‘Spectrum Of Rebellion'

Trumpeter Olivier Laisney, leader of the bands Slugged and Yantras and a sideman alongside musicians such as Louis Sclavis and Magic Malik, presents a new project at the intersection of jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary music.

For the release of this new project, titled “Spectrum Of Rebellion,” the trumpeter has invited rapper-poet Osloob Abdelrahman and his lyrics, which blend Palestinian poetry and traditional Arabic song. Together, they celebrate improvisation and the art of storytelling while questioning our collective memory.
