Founded in New York in 2011, Walking Towards The Unknown is an invitation to move forward without really knowing where you’re going…and to love it. Led by drummer Thomas Galliano, the project leaves room—lots of room—for improvisation, experimentation, the occasional misstep, and above all, for finding something authentic together. Their music flows freely, fueled by a mix of influences, rhythmic fusions, and an unapologetic taste for movement and surprise. On stage, nothing is set in stone: they listen, they bounce off each other, they set off elsewhere without warning, with Jorge Vistel on trumpet, Pierre de Bethmann on piano, Thomas Bramerie on double bass, and Galliano on drums. A lively, curious journey, always in the making.
