Get ready for an evening where the piano speaks, where swing comes alive, and where every note has a story to tell: Jon Dryden, pianist, composer, and true master of sound, is stopping by our club for a concert that promises both finesse and energy. Trained at Berklee College of Music and based in Brooklyn for nearly twenty years, he has crossed paths (and chords) with renowned artists such as Norah Jones, Regina Carter, Lenny White, Paula Cole, Madeleine Peyroux, and Gabi Hartmann—in other words, a resume that grooves all on its own. Now based in Northern California, he continues to develop an elegant and contemporary jazz aesthetic, fueled by his albums *Memento Mori* (2020), *Trio* (2022), and the highly anticipated *Some of My Lies Are True* (June 2026), all characterized by refined songwriting and a genuine melodic sensibility. On stage, he will present this repertoire alongside his top-tier collaborators: Jon Dryden on piano, Robby Marshall on saxophone, Etienne Renard on bass, and Jeff Boudreaux on drums. A quartet built for interaction, listening, and moments of pure improvised magic. With understated virtuosity, obvious chemistry, and a contagious groove, it’s safe to say you’ll likely find yourself nodding along… without even realizing it.
