After a first solo album praised by the international press, saxophonist Sakina Abdou is back with a unique trio. Surrounded by the astral touch of Polish pianist Marta Warelis and the vegetal strike of French drummer Toma Gouband, the saxophonist releases her first trio album on the New York label "Relative Pitch Records" in autumn 2024. Far from the beaten paths, this project explores a sonic territory where the fusionary complicity of the three musicians weaves a powerful, poetic, and completely spontaneous thread.
