The saxophone? Pierre Lapprand fell in love with it at the age of 7. Since then, he has never stopped experimenting, exploring the freest and most incisive corners of modern jazz with Congé Spatial and Chrones, before creating an electronic universe brimming with earth-shaking energy with Pierre & The Stompers. For him, music is a playground of adventure with infinite possibilities and a way to constantly renew his energy, which he joyfully shares with the audience during his concerts.
He has opened for Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Ben Wendel, and Avishai Cohen, toured with bassist Kinga Glyk, and performed at the Poussière cabaret with Théa. As you can see, Pierre Lapprand loves to blur boundaries, and when given carte blanche, he creates encounters between artists whose worlds appeal to him.
Tonight, he invites trumpeter Lucille Moussalli to join him in presenting Analogik Stomp Machine, a project at the crossroads of modern jazz and electronic music, with a strong emphasis on creativity and improvisation.
