Laurent Epstein is one of the most sought-after pianists on the national jazz scene, renowned for his swing and his flair for improvisation. He has performed at leading jazz clubs and festivals in France and around the world, playing both jazz standards and original compositions. He has been heard both with his own Quartet, which is performing tonight, and alongside jazz greats such as Angelo Debarre, Anne Ducros, Rachel Gould, Jean-Loup Longnon, Renato d’Aiello and Patrick Saussois. Among the groups with which he has performed are, among others, Sébastien Giniaux’s Django53, William Brunard’s quartet, François Laudet’s quintet and Hervé Meschinet’s quartet.

Laurent Epstein is a regular fixture at the major clubs on Rue des Lombards in Paris and other iconic jazz venues throughout France, not to mention the festivals, of course: Jazz in Marciac, La Défense Jazz Festival, Jazz En Touraine, Jazz’Opale, Jazz de Mars, and more.
