This project marks a new chapter for Simone Magliozzi, an Italian guitarist based in Paris, as he moves beyond his roots in the Manouche jazz tradition to explore a broader and more personal musical landscape.

Deeply inspired by the great figures of jazz historyósuch as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and above all Django Reinhardtóhe approaches this rich heritage not as a destination, but as a point of departure. These influences shape the foundation of an expansive artistic vision.

From there, the project opens into a wider universe of sound, blending old songs, Latin influences, and forgotten gems. The result is a vibrant and evolving musical identity, where tradition and exploration coexist, and where jazz becomes a gateway to new rhythmic and melodic horizons.
