Discovered and mentored by Terri Lyne Carrington at the BERKLEE INSTITUTE OF JAZZ AND GENDER JUSTICE, Milena has been performing for 5 years on the International Jazz scene with Terri Lyne Carrington, Vijay Iyer, Aaron Parks, Kris Davis, Freedom Riders...

Now based in New York, she is one of the prominent artists in the American contemporary scene. Leading her own quintet for 2 years, she has already conquered major international festivals such as NYC Winter JazzFest, Montreal International Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz in Vitoria-Gasteiz...

Reflection Of Another Self is her debut album. A true discovery for the press, this first Opus is a deeply personal exploration of identity, trauma, resilience, and self-love.
